Your items are made with love and once they leave Handmade by letti HQ your responsiblitiy to keep your jewellery and accessories in the best condition with the right care.
Keeping your jewellery and accessories looking their best for longer is down to the right care.
Keep your Jewellery and accessories away from direct sunlight. store me in a cool, dark place. Never keep your costume jewellery loose in a drawer as it is prone to breakage and damage this way. The best way to store it is in separate pouches so that your jewellery will not get rubbed together. The necklaces can also be hung vertically on hooks to avoid knots in its chain.
Keep your jewellery and accessories away from perfume, this can discolour and affect your item, affect the glue, print and finnish of your item. They can contain some chemicals that can negatively affect your fashion jewellery. That is why it is recommended to put on your costume jewellery once you are done with your entire beauty routine.
Changing clothes while wearing your jewellery may cause damage to your jewellery. For example, removing a t-shirt may cause an accidental pull of your pendant, earrings and the chain may break off. Not only are the chances high for damage on your jewellery, but also your clothes are equally prone to damage. Therefore, change your clothes and then find your matching fashion jewellery
When you are doing active activities such as, exercising or working outside, you should avoid wearing your costume jewellery. The excessive sweat causes a chemical reaction between your skin and the fashion jewellery and leaves behind green traces. The best solution is to store your jewelry in a pouch if you are not home or in your normal storage box if you are home.
Please Avoid getting your jewellery and accessories wet, Please dont wear your jewellery and accessories in the shower, bath any water. Take off your jewellery whenever going to the beach, spas or pool. Both chlorine water and sea water can react with the metals of your jewelry and change the colour of your favorite jewels. Your jewellery is not waterproof and all hairwraps and accessories are to be handwashed only.
Hairwraps and scrunchies are handwash only to keep the colours from running and not shrinking your handmade item.
Oily substances, make up and lotions should be avoided too and should also be cleaned off well if it does come into contact with your piece.
Most of the jewellery cleaners are meant to clean the jewellery crafted from silver, gold and platinum metals and are very harsh for costume jewelry. Therefore, you should never use such cleaners to clean your costume jewelley.
Always good to remember that silver, gold and brass are soft metals that can scratch and dent and can tarnish and fade in time sadly and naughty harmful chemicals and long periods of direct sunlight can discolour or cause damage and fading to your jewellery.
For safety reasons please do not sleep in your jewellery, this can be dangerous, and can pull on the finding of your jewellery and damage your items.
